Humantecar® Tecartherapy

What is Tecartherpy Humantecar®?

Tecartherpy Humantecar® treatment is an electromagnetic stimulator of microcirculation. It acts through a medium-frequency radio signal which, applied on the biological tissue through two specific types of conductor electrodes – high and low impedance. The procedure allows for metabolic activation of the tissue itself, stimulating blood / lymphatic circulation in different areas of the body.

How does it work?

Tecarterpia Humantecar® is based on the condenser principle, well known in physics and applied for the first time on this type of electro-medical equipment.

The electromagnetic signal is transferred to the tissues by direct contact. In the biological field, we can talk about the mobilization of electrical charges naturally present in the body, called electrolytes. These are able to influence cellular metabolism, inducing a demand for a greater oxygen and nutrition level and consequently, a greater blood-flow in a given area of the body.

What are the benefits?

The power, precision and sensitivity of the instrument offer the operator the possibility of making even minimal adjustments to the energy intensity applied, for the benefit of a more targeted and effective treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory pathologies as well as an even faster and more effective pain therapy.

Indications and contraindications

The therapeutic action has the advantage of activating an endogenous micro-hyperemia and hyperthermia of a homogeneous nature both on the surface and in depth. This allows to obtain faster therapeutic results avoiding the unpleasant side-effects typical of radiation therapies.

Possible contraindications for patients who have particular pre-existing conditions

Tecarterapia Humantecar®, is not recommended in the following cases:

  • children under 12 years old as a precaution, due to lack of studies
  • pregnancy as a precaution, for lack of studies
  • epilepsy, due to the risk of sudden loss of consciousness and consequently the patient’s inability to communicate the thermal sensations, exposing him to the risk of burns
  • insensitivity to temperature, due to the patient’s inability to communicate the thermal sensations, exposing him to the risk of burns
  • nervous system disorders, due to excessive difficulty or the inability of the operator to understand the patient’s thermal sensations, exposing him to the risk of burns
  • coagulopathy and thrombophlebitis, due to the risk of clot detachment from the vessel wall and their entry into the bloodstream.
